CEO reporting to the Board on achievement of Ends results (Critical Outcomes/impacts - for which people at what cost/worth) is a critical component of accountable governance. For many organizations and businesses however, this process concept and process offers challenges. For-Impact (Non-Profit) organizational Ends or Critical Outcomes often represent qualitative operational outcomes or operational definitions which can sometimes be considered to be "measuring intangibles". Given the complexity of the thinking, Boards can end up settling for anecdotal Ends reporting, or simply monitoring activities achieved versus the more important report on actual results achieved. 

In this webinar, we will explore a systematic method for measuring intangibles outcomes/results.  We'll work through some of the key principles for developing effective metrics and then see how Avant Ministries has applied the principles in their Ends thinking and metrics tool.  Effective metrics create alignment between Ends and the strategic and operational activities of the organization.
